Ingredients for Tawa Idli
Idli – 8-10
Onion finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Tomato chopped – 1/2 cup
Garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Green coriander leaves chopped – 2 tbsp
Pav Bhaji Masala – 1/2 tsp
salt – as per taste

How to make Tawa Idli
Tawa Idli can be made for breakfast or as a snack during the day. To make this, first take idlis and cut them into big pieces. After this finely chop onion and coriander leaves and prepare garlic paste. Now take a nonstick pan, add 1 tbsp butter and heat it on medium flame. After melting the butter, add finely chopped onions to it and fry while stirring.

When the onions become transparent, add finely chopped tomatoes to it and cook. Tomatoes will become soft in one to two minutes, after that add turmeric, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala and garam masala to the pan and mix well and sauté. After some time add one or two spoons of water and salt as per taste and mix it. Cook the mixture for one more minute.

Now add lemon juice and coriander leaves to this mixture and mix it properly and after cooking for some time add the idli pieces. Now with the help of a spoon, mix the idli with the spices very well. Turn off the gas after sauteing the idli while stirring for 1 to 2 minutes. Now take out tawa idli in a plate. Garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve Tasty Tawa Idli.
